Role. – Senior Manager-Legal
Exp: - 4-10 yrs
Job Location - Bangalore
Qualification - LLB/LLM
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel with 5-7 years of experience, ideally from the e-commerce or retail sector, to join our growing team. In this role, you will primarily focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual agreements and providing legal support on related matters. The role will involve a minimal amount of litigation work, and the primary focus will be on managing contracts, legal notices from customers, and compliance with applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contract Management:
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to sales agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, partnership agreements, and NDAs.
• Legal Notices:
• Handle legal notices received from customers and third parties, ensuring proper response and resolution in a timely manner.
• E-commerce & Retail Law:
• Advise on various legal matters related to e-commerce and retail operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including consumer protection laws and data privacy.
• Risk Management:
• Identify legal risks related to business operations and provide practical, legally sound advice on how to mitigate these risks.
Experience:
5-7 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on contract law, ideally within the e-commerce or retail industry.
Experience handling legal notices and commercial dispute management is highly desirable.
· Skills and Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of commercial and contract law, particularly in the e-commerce or retail sectors.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
• Familiarity with legal technologies and contract management tools is a plus.
