Position Summary
Liasoning & Licensing Manager is a very responsible role demanding excellent coordination between internal teams, external agencies, government bodies etc. Candidate should have technical and subject matter expertise across all types of construction and operations liasoning, and licensing permissions requirement for hotels.
Job Responsibilities
• Comprehend the work culture, values, ethics and business model of 7 Apple Hotels.
• Align yourself to the company's long-term goals and vision.
• Demonstrate strong integrity and ethics.
• Should know about licenses required for Hotel construction and operations.
• Should coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to get all pre/post hotel construction and hotel operations permissions issued by government departments like Municipal Corporations, Electricity, Water, Pollution Control, Fire, OC, Excise, Shop Act, FSSAI, Health, etc.
• Coordinate all internal departments' documentation and fulfil all preparation requirements for submission to external agencies.
• Follow-ups to ensure that processes get initiated at an appropriate time and that permissions and licenses are obtained at the right time.
• Manage all the permissions, licenses and documents centrally and also maintain tracker to track the overall status of renewals etc., proactively.
• Develop & document policies and SOPs.
• Building and managing relationships with internal teams and external agencies.
• Monthly updates/review meetings with management to track and monitor progress and discuss plans, budgets etc.
• Should maintain cordial relations with Govt bodies and its officials towards sanctions, Licenses and any other related works
• Should establish strong working relationships with related Govt officials through regular, face-to-face contacts that foster support and encourage participation towards sanctions/Licenses/ approvals etc
• He should take licenses and NOC, such as specific sizes for the hotel, kitchen, eating license, swimming pool license and fire brigade licenses about safety from the local authority.
• Any other legal and liasoning works as per business requirements.
