Job Description
Purpose
• This role is to support the Reputational and Sustainability Risk agenda and progress the Group s Net Zero ambitions and Environmental, Social, Governance ( ESG ) integration.
• The Senior Manager, Reputational and Sustainability Risk, ERM will:
• Support designing the policy framework and risk management capabilities for Sustainability Risks across Clients, Third Parties and Operations this includes the Group s ambitions on Net Zero.
• Support embedding the new policy framework for management of Reputational and Sustainability Risk across the regions and countries and help implement the appropriate future target operating model.
• Contribute to the development of and maturation of reputational and sustainability risk practices to incorporate horizon scanning of emerging reputational and sustainability risks to inform the business strategy of countries, region, and the Group.
Strategy
• Support the delivery of strategic initiatives relating to Reputational & Sustainability risk type framework, in particular ESG integration initiatives
• Support the work relating to business-led working groups where RSR is a member
Business
• Support embedding reputational and sustainability risk considerations into first-line business processes.
People and Talent
• Help to build the appropriate culture and values. Work collaboratively with all relevant partners.
Risk Management
• Uphold the integrity of risk/return decisions, by challenging business to demonstrate that risk origination and control decisions are properly informed and consistent with the reputational and sustainability risk strategy and risk appetite.
• Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness becomes apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant committees.
• Where required, act as the second-line for risk areas aligned to the Reputational and Sustainability Risk RTF and Policy. Review and challenge Standard generation and updates and review control environment for weakness.
Governance
• Provide support across Reputational and Sustainability Risk, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements.
• Embed the Group s values and code of conduct in Reputational and Sustainability Risk.
• Ensure that material risk exposures and related issues are reported to the responsible risk governance committees.
