Position overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Manager, Sport Activations to lead the strategic planning and execution of high-impact sports events and sponsorship activations in North America. This role will be responsible for developing and managing event operations and ensuring seamless execution to maximize brand engagement and ROI. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the sports industry, strong project management skills and experience in delivering innovative, engaging and memorable consumer experiences at events.

This position is remote eligible in the following states only: Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah Washington.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy and Execution

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for sports events, and sponsorship activations that align with business and brand objectives.
Ensure event execution aligns with brand guidelines.
Lead the end-to-end planning, production, and execution of sporting events, ensuring impactful experiences.
Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, staffing, budgeting and on-site operations.
Develop creative activations that drive consumer engagement, brand awareness, and audience participation.
Collaborate with internal marketing, PR, and social teams to maximize media coverage and storytelling opportunities around events.
Performance & ROI Measurement

Define KPIs and success metrics for events and activations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Analyze post-event data, consumer engagement, and brand impact to inform future strategies and improve overall effectiveness.
Prepare post-event recaps and learnings to present to leadership.
Manage budgets and optimize spending.
Cross Functional Collaboration

Work closely with internal teams, including brand marketing, partnerships, digital, social media, sales and creative to develop integrated activations.
Serve as key point of contact for events & activations, providing updates and recommendations on event strategies and results.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
7+ years of experience in sports event management, sponsorship activations or experiential marketing.
Proven track record of executing large-scale sports events and brand activations.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
Ability to think creatively and strategically while executing under tight deadlines.
Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
Ability to travel 30% of the time.
