What Your Days Will be Like:
As a Caregiver within our Care for Business team, you will have the opportunity to care for children of multiple families in your area! You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children under your care. Our team will automatically place you in jobs based on your experience, location, and availability!
• Conduct Intro Calls with each family you're booked with
• Care for children in their homes, typically an 8-hour day
• Abide by and follow the schedule and rules set forth by parents
• Perform household duties relating to the care you provide; i.e. cleaning up after meals, doing dishes, and cleaning up after activities
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Minimum of 1 weekday availability to work (at least 8 consecutive hours between 6am-8pm)
• Related childcare experience
• Reliable transportation to reach families’ homes and ability to travel up to 15 miles from your home
• Adult, Infant, and Pediatric CPR/First Aid Required prior to start date (will provide reimbursement for certification)
• Familiarity and ability to use app-based products and electronic devices
• Authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at one time
• Exposure to mildly sick children
Compensation Range: $1+ to $21 hourly. The base compensation range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual compensation may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).

JOB SUMMARY
As part of Marriott’s Talent Management + Organizational Capability (TMOC) organization, the Organizational Capability (OC) Center of Excellence (COE) is responsible for building and supporting business capabilities in the areas of organizational and process design, talent activation, team effectiveness and change/deployment management. The OC COE’s work is focused broadly on strengthening the alignment between business priorities and organizational strategy and activation (structure, processes, systems, talent, change, culture, etc.). Through specific expertise in these efforts, the OC COE works to ensure Marriott International (MI) optimizes its return on human capital investments through a high performing organization. The primary “clients” of the OC department are Senior HR Generalists and Senior Business Leaders across the enterprise.
The Senior Manager of Organizational Capability will contribute to MI’s capabilities in organizational optimization through:
• Facilitation and execution of strategies and operating models that will support Continent Organizations and Disciplines across MI.
• Supporting organization design and effectiveness, job design, business process re-engineering, performance management systems, business culture alignment, change management and learning.
• Design and development of organizational capability tools, templates, and methods to implement initiatives and to educate business leaders.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
• Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science.
• 5+ years of experience in supporting or leading organizational effectiveness and process design engagements.
• Track record of partnering with business leaders to execute organizational solutions in a large, complex organization.
Preferred
• Graduate degree, MS/MBA (or equivalent) in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, or Related Field.
• Hospitality/Lodging industry or consulting experience strongly preferred.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
• Support senior HR leaders and other stakeholders to translate business needs into organizational implications.
• Support diagnostics, planning implementation (e.g., project proposals, work plans, etc.), evaluation of org effectiveness initiatives
• Support business needs as an organizational subject matter expert including developing and implementing high-quality, cost-effective organizational effectiveness products, programs and services.
• Access and synthesize data to generate organizational insight for key stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of organizational capability tools, templates and methods to implement initiatives
• Coordinate closely with TMOC’s Change Management + Associate Engagement function to facilitate understanding and adoption of new roles and processes across the enterprise.
• Support business needs as an organizational subject matter expert including developing and implementing high-quality, cost-effective organizational effectiveness products, programs and services.
• Access and synthesize data to generate organizational insight for key stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of organizational capability tools, templates and methods to implement initiatives.
