AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

As a Senior Manager, you'll be at the helm of both technical innovation and site leadership for Aurora in Bangalore. Your role will be multifaceted, combining strategic vision with hands-on technical expertise. You'll shape the long-term technical roadmap and set ambitious goals to drive performance improvements that benefit our customers. A key aspect of your role will be fostering a thriving engineering community, aligning organizational leaders on priorities, and optimizing resource allocation to achieve critical objectives. Your technical acumen will be put to the test as you identify architectural bottlenecks, develop proof-of-concepts, and guide senior engineers in crafting robust technical solutions. Basic Qualifications
• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
