JOB DESCRIPTION:

Your job responsibilities will include,

Technical:

Preparation and review of U.S. Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040 and 1040NR)
Preparation and review of U.S Partnership Tax Returns (Form 1065), including preparation and review of Schedule K-1
Preparation and review of U.S. Corporate Income Tax returns (Form 1120 and 1120S) along with various state returns
Preparation and review of other U.S. returns like sales and use tax, franchise tax, payroll tax, property tax
Annual and quarterly tax provisioning, calculation of quarterly tax estimate payment, submission of extension, check the box election
FATCA and FinCEN reporting
Assistance in the process of US Company incorporation and registration in various states
Preparation and review of various international tax reporting forms i.e. 5471, 5472, 8865, 8821, 926 etc.
In depth knowledge of federal and state taxation of individual and other entities
Handling IRS and state tax notices;• Assistance in advisory matters in connection with US taxation provisions
Extensive knowledge in state nexus, taxability and reporting compliances.
Managerial:

Managing workflow
Training, motivating and building team
Client pitching and meetings
Customer service skills
Managing deliverables to ensure due dates are met
An eye for detail• Excellent managerial and time management skills
Good verbal and written communication skill
Others: Till the time this becomes a full fledged vertical, the person will be involved in India tax work as well. Accordingly, knowledge of India tax is also required.


DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or statistics; required; OR Bachelors degree in other focus area AND CPA certification, required.
Master’s degree with a major in Accounting or Taxation, preferred.
6-10 years of experience in handling US taxation
Should be having a practical work experience in softwares like Gosystem, Drake, CCH access, Ultratax, Quickbook etc
Should have led a team of 6-8 people.
