Job Description – Financial Reporting & Audit Support
Position: Controllership
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Bangalore,
Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional who will be responsible for financial reporting, audit coordination, and investor reporting. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, audit exposure, and the ability to work closely with internal teams, auditors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports on a periodic basis (monthly / quarterly / annual).
Support statutory, internal, and external audits by coordinating with auditors and ensuring timely completion of audits.
Assist in audit documentation, schedules, and data reconciliation.
Address auditor queries and ensure proper closure of audit observations.
Prepare and share financial and MIS reports for investors and management.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
Work closely with internal finance, accounts, and compliance teams.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Maintain proper financial records and documentation for review and reporting purposes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Chartered Account
5 years of experience in financial reporting, audit support, or similar finance roles.
Hands-on experience in audit coordination and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
Good communication skills for interaction with auditors and investors.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year

WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
In this role, you will work on projects to improve the firm’s controls and oversight of third-party service providers, technology, and financial operations support. You will manage firm’s third-party service provider economics by overseeing pricing negotiations, linking costs to value through rigorous performance measurement, and ensuring an efficient, fit‑for‑purpose operating model. You will lead and coordinate DESCO’s partnership with third-party service providers, driving cross‑functional alignment, operational stability, and a culture of continuous improvement across business units. You will also enable scalable problem‑solving by partnering with function heads to design data‑informed solutions, guide execution, and measure sustainable business impact.
