Senior Manager/AVP ALM (Asset Liability Management) - Risk Role
About the Role
• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager/AVP to lead our Asset Liability Management (ALM) risk function at AU Small Finance Bank.
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant banking experience and a strong understanding of liquidity and interest rate risk management.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor liquidity and interest rate risk for the bank, highlighting concerns to senior management.
• Prepare, review, and validate regulatory returns, monitoring ratios against internal and regulatory limits, and providing insight with impact analysis to management.
• Develop and maintain daily liquidity and ALM dashboards to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate on IT projects related to risk monitoring and management systems.
• Support the enhancement of current solutions through testing and functional input in developing new solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with market and regulatory developments, best practices in ALM/balance sheet management, and industry trends.
• Liaise extensively with treasury, risk, IT, finance, and business teams to ensure alignment and effective risk management.
Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to company policies regarding information sharing.
• Ensure compliance with RBI circulars and guidelines, driving commercial savings on existing portfolios while maintaining adherence to RBI policies.
Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant banking experience.
• Strong understanding of liquidity and interest rate risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
