Job Description
Role Overview:
This is a full‑time, on‑site leadership role for an experienced Senior Manager or Chief Technical Architect – Software Engineering.
You will shape the software technology road-map, lead end‑to‑end software development initiatives, and guide engineering teams in delivering high‑quality embedded software solutions for motorcycle control units (ARAS, HMI, and other ECUs).
The role requires strong strategic thinking, hands‑on technical expertise, and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams while driving consensus across stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Architecture
Own and define the overall software architecture across motorcycle control units.
Lead strategic planning for software lifecycle management, tooling, methodologies, and platform evolution.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, ensuring Triumph stays ahead of industry trends.
Project & Delivery Management
Plan, lead, and deliver complex embedded software projects (ARAS, HMI & other control units application software) with high quality and on time.
Oversee project timelines, technical milestones, and engineering quality standards.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams to achieve technical excellence.
Conduct training sessions and drive continuous development of engineering capabilities.
Foster collaboration across stakeholders, ensuring alignment on architecture, design, and delivery goals.
Problem Solving & Technical Guidance
Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex technical issues.
Guide teams through critical design decisions, technical risks, and integration challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
15+ years of experience in embedded software development and technical leadership.
Proven experience leading and mentoring high‑performing engineering teams.
Expertise in ARAS, HMI, and various vehicle control unit application software development.
Strong project management skills with a record of delivering complex embedded systems.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities.
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Experience in the automotive or motorcycle domain is highly advantageous.
