Jar was founded by Nishchay AG, former director and founding member at mobility start-up Bounce, and Misbah Ashraf, founder of community-focused e-commerce platform Marsplay.
What does Jar do?
Jar is building a micro-wealth management platform, one step at a time — starting with micro savings, financial literacy, micro investments, and encouraging people to habituate the act of saving.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies for iOS products.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends.
Plan, execute and monitor digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, mobile app, and display advertising.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, engineering, and data analytics to ensure effective implementation of marketing initiatives.
Optimize the user acquisition funnel, including app store optimization (ASO) and search engine marketing (SEM).
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and mobile app promotion.
Skills and
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, communications, business administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on mobile app promotion, preferably in the iOS ecosystem.
Strong knowledge of iOS app store optimization (ASO), search engine marketing (SEM), and mobile advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
Proven ability to run user acquisition campaigns for iOS; handled significant marketing budgets.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive user acquisition and retention.
Excellent analytical skills and experience working with data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Passionate about mobile technology and digital marketing, with a willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
