Job Description
As a Senior Marketing Analytics Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our marketing strategy, focusing on quantifying the impact of paid marketing channels across the entire customer journey. Your expertise will allow us to move beyond basic web metrics to gain insights into user interactions from paid media touchpoints through to in-store sales.
By merging online consumer behavior with offline sales data, you will create a comprehensive overview of channel performance. Collaboration with Media, Finance, and Operations teams will be essential as you develop a fact-based growth strategy, utilizing SQL and Tableau to identify trends that enhance marketing return on investment (ROI). Your insights will play a vital role in shaping budget allocations, audience targeting strategies, and website improvements to drive valuable store traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with various departments to provide analytical insights on business performance (20%).
• Research and analyze business trends and customer behavior data to uncover website enhancement opportunities (20%).
• Evaluate site performance through web analytics and additional offline data analysis (20%).
• Assist the Web Analyst in delivering weekly Web Analytic dashboards (10%).
• Lead new initiatives and programs within the Web Analytics Team (10%).
• Develop web analytics strategies for Specialty Channel (10%).
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
• You will report to the Manager of Channel Analytics.
• This position does not include any direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
• Occasional overnight travel, less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
• Most of your time will be spent in a comfortable sitting position, with opportunities for movement. Rarely, you may need to lift or move light items.
Working Conditions:
• Work is performed in a comfortable indoor environment, with infrequent unpleasant conditions.
• No travel is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
• At least eighteen years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience providing guidance and on-the-job training to peers.
• Proficiency in business/financial modeling using tools like Excel and Access.
• Applied statistical analysis skills to address business challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail; proactive self-starter.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Business Analyst roles.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Tableau.
• Knowledge of paid media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager) and attribution modeling methods (e.g., Linear, First-Touch, Data-Driven).
Minimum Education:
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
Minimum Years of Work Experience:
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
