Role Description

As a Marketing Analytics Manager you will be an integral part of a cross-functional squad composed of data engineers, analytics engineers, and other key stakeholders.

The role is responsible for developing and managing comprehensive data-driven marketing analytics to optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies.

This includes building dashboards to track Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and return on ad spend, analyzing lead acquisition trends, and centralizing reporting on ad spend and messaging performance.

The role also involves creating and implementing customer segmentation models to enhance targeting, maintaining a customer relationship tree to visualize customer connections, and developing propensity models to predict behavior.

Additionally, the role requires performing text analytics on unstructured data, personalizing ad campaigns based on customer segmentation, analyzing customer engagement, and developing churn prediction models to reduce customer attrition.

Principal Accountabilities
• Build and manage dashboards : Develop CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and return on spend dashboards to track marketing efficiency.
• Lead acquisition trend reporting : Analyze and report on trends in lead acquisition to inform marketing strategies.
• Ad spend and messaging reporting : Centralize reporting on ad spend and messaging performance across different channels.
• Customer segmentation : Develop and implement customer segmentation models to better target marketing efforts.
• Customer relationship tree : Build and maintain a customer relationship tree to visualize and analyze customer connections and hierarchies.
• Propensity modeling : Create propensity models to predict customer behavior and improve targeting.
• Text analytics : Perform text analytics to gain insights from unstructured data sources such as customer reviews and social media.
• Ad campaign personalization : Develop models to personalize ad campaigns for different customer segments.
• Customer engagement analytics : Analyze customer engagement data to inform marketing strategies.
• Churn models : Develop churn prediction models to retain customers and reduce churn rates.

Personal Attributes & Experience
• Educational Background : A bachelor’s degree in a STEM major (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering) or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency : Expertise in data analytics, data engineering, and data science techniques.
• Tool Mastery : Excellent knowledge of data science tools (Python, SQL) and production tools.
• Marketing Acumen : Strong understanding of marketing metrics and KPIs.
• Data Handling : Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Statistical Knowledge : Deep understanding of the fundamentals of probability and statistics.
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an affinity for logically and structurally breaking down complex problems.
• Communication Skills : Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Business Experience : Experience in a fast-moving or high-growth business environment.
• Process Engineering : Strong skills in process engineering design, implementation, and automation.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build and deploy advanced analytics models and reporting solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
