About Velvet Vibes
Velvet Vibes is on a mission to enable a unique collection of emerging Artists with distinct cultures, who are diverse and selective in their artistic approach.
As an independent record label - based out of Mumbai - Velvet Vibes’ aim is to empower music released by Artists PAN-India and released under its banner, by assisting them right from the arrangement and production processes to completely taking charge of distribution and marketing. Given Velet Vibes’ pool of resources under Novex and more - this not only guarantees a full-proof post-release success rate but also allows Artists to follow its integrity in making music by limited intervention and unlimited assistance.
The label's larger vision remains to secure the right set of Artists under its roof and enable the best of the best music creations within its catalog for the label’s audience to enjoy.
How do we work?
We sign, represent, distribute, market, and monetize music brought to us by our wide network of scouts. Our sister concern, Novex Communications, enables us to tap into the right partners across India to conduct all of the aforesaid activities as one whole activation.
What this Job entails:
• This role requires the individual to manage the Label’s creative, content, digital & social media-related efforts
• An essential part of this role will be to work in close liaison with the top management while devising and executing strategies specific to the areas covered within the scope aforementioned
• The day-to-day operations will also include partaking in the execution process of various strategies and management of any and all personnel involved in the process
Responsibilities
• Planning strategies pertaining to creative, content, digital, and social media
• Managing the label’s creative production efforts
• Managing the label’s digital media and social media efforts
• Aligning various partners involved in the processes related to the scope aforementioned
• Assisting in the Music distribution process by overlooking creative asset deployment
• Following SOPs for smoother operations between internal teams and partners
• Fulfilling responsibilities delegated by the team lead and top management
Pre-requisites to Apply
• Background in Music and/or Entertainment - 2 Years minimum
• Experience in managing creative production - design, video shoots, and other content
• Experience in managing social media accounts - music marketing campaigns
• Past work with Record Label/s or Agency experience is preferred
• Modern taste in music, creative, and content is a must
• Passion for Music, the Internet, and Technology
• Ability to represent the Label and manage relationships with various stakeholders
• Analytical bent of mind and curiosity
