Qualifications
We are actively seeking up-and-coming digital marketing talent to join our team and help scale our App and Services businesses. This is your opportunity to get in on the ground-floor of a high-growth venture. Given that this is an early-mid career opening, you must have 2+ years of digital marketing experience with a demonstrated track record of quantifiable results. In addition to being customer and brand obsessed, high-integrity, a voracious appetite to learn, action-bias, ownership, ability to elevate a team’s performance, and humility are critical personality attributes we will screen for. This role, while designed as an individual contributor, will report to MLVeda’s executive leadership team, and will actively liaise with product, software development, and customer success teams. Please note that this is not a remote role and is based at our Ahmedabad, Gujrat office.
From a core competency standpoint, we are looking for the following skillset:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years works experience, preferably with a multinational company.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of customer acquisition and retention success on e-Commerce App platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Wix, WordPress, Atlassian, or others.
• Ability to build articulate customer personas and create targeted marketing campaigns around these personas.
• Ability to deep-dive data and make data-driven decisions based on analytical insights (such as MRR growth, customer churn, LTV, for example).
• Expertise in cross-selling and upselling other apps, products/services.
• Fluency with setting up and deploying marketing strategies for new app/products launches.
• Expertise running paid ad campaigns with demonstrated RoAS success.
• Fluency with deploying SEO/SEM strategies and tactics.
• Fluency with content development and/or the ability to vet content effectiveness to drive organic search.
• Expertise in A/B testing as it relates to app/product design or deploying new pricing strategies for products/apps/services.
• Expertise in effective customer onboarding and nurturing, to preserve LTV.
• Experience with App Store Optimization tools such as App Annie, Sensor Tower, and App Sotre Analytics (Shopify).
• Proficiency with Google Analytics.
• Experience leveraging ChatGPT for keyword research.
• Experience with Analytics and CRM/Marketing Automation platforms such as Baremetrics, ProfitWell, Mixpanel, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and Constant Contact.
• Intermediate to expert level proficiency with Excel and project management tools such as Notion or Asana.
• Intermediate to expert level proficiency with B2B social media marketing and familiarity with tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer and Sprout Social.
• Familiarity with Influencer Marketing Platforms such as AspireIQ and Influence.co.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of web design.
• Willingness, and ability, to cold call/email leads to drive demand generation.
