Senior Mechanic - Glasgow - ML1 5SQ
Job Summary
In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Automotive shop in Glasgow. Following our proven maintenance methods and practices you will work with the team to ensure our vehicles are safe and compliant to all legislation.
Duties will include inspecting and servicing our vehicles, work planning, parts ordering, auditing workshop activities, in this dynamic and fast-moving environment. Good communication skills are essential to work with our Operations Departments and keep the fleet operational.

· A competitive basic salary of £40,26+.00, plus a shift premium (£4.84 per hour between 8pm-6am) and overtime at time and a half.

Your Tasks
· Work 40-hours flexibly between the hours of 07:30am - 20:30 based on the need and requirement each week
· Keep our iconic vehicles on the road by expertly handling a variety of repairs and maintenance on our large fleet
· Carry out regular maintenance inspections, complete online records and control stock
· Work with your fellow mechanics to achieve maintenance targets quickly, safely and reliably
Your Skills
· Initiative, planning skills and a flexible, enthusiastic approach
· Full UK driving license
· City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in vehicle mechanics
· A C1, 7.5-tonne license would be a bonus but isn't essential
