Job Title: Mechanical Design Specialist
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in product design, concept creation, and manufacturing processes. They should also have knowledge of CAD tools, GD&T, and PDM/PLM systems.
• Design and develop new mechanical products, including concept creation and detail design
• Use CAD tools to create 3D models and drawings
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including BOMs and manufacturing drawings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
Requirements:
• Candidate should be proficient in mechanical engineering fundamentals and have experience in design calculations
• Requires knowledge of systems and software necessary to perform job function
Skill Requirements:
• NPD/NPI experience
• Experience in Electromechanical product design
• Knowledge of semiconductor products is an added advantage
• Extensive experience in Creo
• Hands on experience in SAP, ECTR, Windchill or Teamcenter
Preferred Skills:
• Unigraphics, Inventor
• Teamcenter
• Sheetmetal, GD&T, DFx, Material Selection, OEM Component Selection, Manufacturing, and welding process
