Job Description
Develop mechanical handling and lifting studies for heavy and critical equipment (e.g., compressors, vessels, pumps).
• Plan equipment access, routing, and removal strategies during layout and 3D model reviews.
• Define maintenance handling requirements and coordinate with layout, structural, and construction teams.
• Prepare handling equipment specifications and interface with vendors and lifting specialists.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, project specifications, and international standards (e.g., LOLER, ASME, API).
• Support constructability and maintainability reviews across project phases.
• Provide technical input during site execution, lifting operations, and equipment installation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical handling/lifting engineering for EPC oil & gas projects.
• Strong understanding of handling equipment, lifting techniques, and access planning.
• Proficient in reviewing 3D models and layouts (e.g., SmartPlant, Navisworks).
• Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
