Are you a technical expert with a passion for storytelling and creative technology? We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Media Technician to join our world-renowned creative provision.
In this hands-on and varied role, you will be the technical backbone of our Film & Media Production and Digital Arts departments. From maintaining industry-standard TV and Radio studios to optimising our high-spec computer suites, you will ensure our students have the tools they need to redefine the future of the creative industries.

Abilities, Skills and Knowledge
Good literacy & numeracy skills essential
Excellent knowledge and experience of using and maintaining live visual and broadcasting equipment essential
Proven ability, knowledge and understanding of how to use a range of hardware & software for the production of digital media essential
Experience
Well organised and methodical with good attention to detail essential
Proven ability of using and organising systems for equipment loans and maintaining equipmentessential
Proven ability and detailed knowledge of using and maintaining digital video cameras and other media related equipment essential
Completed a relevant Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Testing course
Manual handling at work training
Working at height & Ladder training
Proven ability in the upkeep of social media accounts or similar
Proven ability in instructing students in the use of Adobe CC and other software packages
Previous experience of working in a digital technology industry
Experience of line managing individuals
Proven ability in and detailed knowledge of key software within the Adobe Suite
