• Regulatory requirement
• Breath analyzer testing requirements as per DGCA guidelines. This will involve the following.
To carry out pre-flight / post-flight Aircrew and ground staff BA.
Checking serviceability of BA instruments along with their calibration status.
To carry out disinfection of instruments and check serviceability of UV disinfection boxes.
Monitoring CCTV serviceability for PFMC/PDMC.
Data collation and Reporting of all BA positive cases to the concerned
Preservation of daily records and documentation.
• Certification of kits – First aid kit (FAK); Medical Kit (MK); and Universal precaution kit (UPK)
• Audits - preparing for all DGCA and Internal audits and reporting them.
• To keep abreast with all DGCA guidelines and company policies as revised periodically
• Manpower Management
• To manage the requirements of base paramedics w.r.t duty roster/ daily operations/ leaves.
• To ensure suitable leave relievers are available for DGCA compliance requirements to meet operational continuity
• Administrative/ Logistic Management
• To keep a check on stock of daily use items eg -tubes/ batteries /local use medicines/ stationery etc.
• To ensure supervision on serviceability of CCTV/ Ba machines/ UV Boxes
• To ensure timely stock availability by raising proper indents
• To ensure supervision of upkeep of BA rooms
• Medical Consultation
• Crew sickness and fitness verification as per DGCA norms
• To provide Medical consultation for staff.
• To ensure expeditious MEDA passenger clearances as per IATA & Company policy
• Cabin crew medicals.- to conduct initial/ renewal medicals for cabin crew
• To ensure correctness of documents for Pilot medical reports verification
• Disease management
• Attending to calls and mails regarding covid positive cases
