Job Summary
HR Service Jobs is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Writer to join our growing team. This position offers flexibility in terms of hours and employment type, making it ideal for professionals who want to contribute their expertise to a variety of healthcare and pharmaceutical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of scientific content, experience in regulatory and publication writing, and the ability to translate complex medical data into clear, accurate, and engaging documents for various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, edit, and proofread high-quality scientific documents, including clinical study reports (CSRs), investigator brochures (IBs), manuscripts, slide decks, regulatory submissions, and drug dossiers.
• Interpret and summarize clinical data and research findings with accuracy and scientific integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and clinical research teams to understand project objectives and deliverables.
• Ensure documents comply with industry regulations (e.g., ICH, FDA, EMA guidelines), journal requirements, and internal quality standards.
• Conduct thorough literature reviews and maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic areas, drug development trends, and guidelines.
• Mentor junior writers or freelance contributors when necessary.
• Manage multiple writing projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Masters degree or Ph.D. in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, statistical concepts, and clinical trial methodology.
• High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with document management systems and referencing tools like EndNote or Mendeley.
Experience
• Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience as a medical writer in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare communications industry.
• Prior experience working on regulatory documents and scientific publications is highly desirable.
• Experience with global teams and clients is a plus.
Working Hours
• Flexible working hours.
• Full-time (40 hours/week), Part-time (minimum 20 hours/week), or Freelance (project-based).
• Remote work with optional hybrid or office days (if preferred and available locally).
