SENIOR MELTING OFFICER - MELTING DEPARTMENT
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metal Melting Operation officer to join our team. As the Metal Melting Operation Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the metal melting process and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality metal products. This is a full-time position. Ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in metal melting operations.
Roles And Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of the metal melting operations, including monitoring production, quality control, and safety procedures.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and productivity.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and protocols.
Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and resources.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the metal melting equipment and machinery, and troubleshoot any issues.
Develop and implement training programs for the metal melting team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Maintain and update standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in metal melting operations.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal melting operations, preferably in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of different metal melting processes, techniques, and equipment.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving production targets.
Sound understanding of health and safety regulations in metal melting operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in using computer software and systems related to metal melting operations.
preferably knowledge of DISA Machine.
