Job Description
Dolly J, one of Indias leading fashion brands specializing in Indian haute couture is looking for a senior fashion designer to play a lead role launching the new menswear line. The line will include designers for ethnic menswear, and we want a designer who can conceptualize a piece and see through the formation of the first piece.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design team in conceptualizing and creating high-end menswear couture collections (focus on Indian and ethnic menswear)
Translate creative visions into detailed sketches and technical drawings.
Create cutting edge couture pieces which incorporate the latest trends in Indian and western design
Collaborate with the production team to ensure the seamless execution of designs
Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Menswear Fashion Designer in the couture or luxury fashion industry
Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of designs and technical skills
Excellent knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and manufacturing processes
Exceptional leadership and communication skills
Passion for creating unique and captivating couture pieces
