Job Description
An experienced merchandiser with a minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a fashion design house, preferably one that offers both Indian/ethnic and contemporary western clothing.
The ideal candidate must have strong leadership abilities and be an effective communicator.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing a team of EBO and MBO merchandisers.
• Generating purchase orders.
• Traveling within India for trunk shows/promotions.
Working closely with the design team to provide guidance on seasonal collections.
• Responsibility for costing of collections.
Coordinating with the production department to ensure timely delivery of POs.
Strong Excel skills are required.
