The Opportunity
We are building our product and platform end to end — from backend services and APIs to frontend user experiences and cloud infrastructure.
This is a deeply hands-on, high-ownership full stack role. You will contribute across the entire system: backend architecture in Python/Django, frontend development in Vue.js/Quasar (or React/Angular), infrastructure in GCP, and DevOps workflows using Terraform and Cloud Run.
You won’t just implement tasks — you’ll help define how the system is structured, deployed, secured, and scaled.
Because we are a small, high-performing team, ownership extends beyond writing application code. You’ll participate in infrastructure design, CI/CD, monitoring, performance optimization, and cloud cost management. We value engineers who are comfortable moving between product features and infrastructure improvements as needed.
We’re especially excited about engineers who work AI-first — using LLM copilots and AI-assisted workflows to increase velocity while maintaining strong engineering standards.
Whether you're a strong mid-level engineer ready to own major parts of the stack or a senior engineer who has built products end-to-end, this role offers real leverage and visible impact.
What You’ll Do
• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python and Django
• Develop modern frontend applications using Vue.js with Quasar (React or Angular experience also welcomed)
• Architect and deploy containerized services to Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run)
• Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and operational tooling
• Collaborate on system design, API contracts, and product architecture decisions
• Improve reliability, scalability, and security across the stack
• Optimize performance and cloud cost efficiency as usage grows
• Participate in DevOps responsibilities including environment management and production troubleshooting
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality
What You BringCore Requirements
• 3–8+ years of experience in full stack or backend-focused engineering roles
• Strong production experience with Python and Django (required)
• Experience building and shipping full stack applications
• Experience with a modern frontend framework (Vue.js preferred; React or Angular acceptable)
• Hands-on experience deploying production systems in a major cloud provider
• Google Cloud Platform strongly preferred
• Strong AWS or Azure experience acceptable with demonstrated infrastructure depth
• Experience containerizing applications (Docker) and deploying to managed compute platforms (e.g., Cloud Run, ECS, App Service, etc.)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and cloud security best practices
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment with shared ownership
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
Nice to Have
• Direct experience with Google Cloud Run
• Experience using Quasar framework
• Experience managing production Django deployments at scale
• Background in DevOps or platform engineering responsibilities
• Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost and performance
• Exposure to fintech, legal tech, AI products, or data-intensive applications

Compensation
• Competitive base salary US $120,000 to US $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
