You will be a key contact point for ACTHD business units providing advice and guidance on ministerial briefing processes, whilst also tracking and monitoring requests. This will provide opportunities to develop networks and build relationships with key contacts at different levels within the directorate.
To be successful in the role you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a sound understanding of ministerial processes while being responsive and adaptable to ever changing priorities. You will have the chance to showcase your organisational skills, whilst be afforded opportunities to develop reports and guidance material for your directorate colleagues.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for three months with the possibility of extension up to six months and/or permanency. This position will be filled at either the ASO6 or SOGC level, dependent on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. Applicants should address the Selection Criteria located in the Position Description based on the role you wish to apply for.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT.
