Now, we're seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to lead the development of applications that bring our hardware capabilities to life.

• Support B2B partners with SDK integration, including code examples and troubleshooting, and with white-label and bespoke app development.
• Help grow our mobile team, including mentoring a junior engineer in 2026

By succeeding in this role you’ll be helping Olympic sailors to optimise performance, gym goers to improve their health, increase safety and confidence for people working at height and many more. Along the way that will drive revenue for Cyclops both in software sales and in support of sensor sales.

Your Working Style

You are:

• Skilled at breaking down complex features into implementable chunks.
• Pragmatic about balancing technical debt with delivery.
• A clear communicator who raises blocking issues early.
• Give priorities can work independently and maintain momentum without close supervision
• Strong at collaborative work, especially when working with folks with other technical specialisms (the hardware team in our case).
• Excited about learning and applying new technologies thoughtfully.

Why Join Us
• Shape the technical direction of a growing mobile team, including guiding choices on tooling, architecture and process. We’re excited about the possibilities of building our process around AI tooling.
• Flexibility to take a development path to either principal IC or a tech lead role.
• Work with cutting-edge hardware and real-time data.
• Join a funded startup on track for profitability in 2026.
• Hybrid working model (2-3 days in office) that combines focused development time with collaborative hardware integration.
• This role will be based in our Cambridge office, with occasional travel to our HQ in Portsmouth, UK.
• Competitive Senior Engineer compensation plus stock options.

We're building a software team that will grow over the coming years. This is an opportunity to shape both our technology and our team from the ground up, creating the foundation for our next phase of growth.
