Job Title: Video Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in editing high-quality videos for various platforms.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Mastery of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other industry-standard tools.

• Strong understanding of rhythm, timing, and flow to engage viewers.

• Able to create visually appealing transitions and effects without overdoing it.

• Skillful in syncing audio with background music, sound effects, and voiceovers.

Platform-Specific Knowledge:

• Familiarity with Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts formats and knowledge of what works on each platform.

• Able to edit for vertical, square, and landscape formats depending on the platform.

• Expertise in recutting long-form content into bite-sized videos for different platforms.

• Creative static covers or opening frames that boost CTR.

Creative and Strategic Thinking:

• Able to build a narrative arc in a 15-second video to drive engagement or emotion.

• Strong starting skills in the first 3 seconds to stop the scroll.

• Knowledge of color palettes, fonts, and voice consistent with the client's brand.

• Able to determine whether the video is aimed at engagement, conversions, or awareness and edit accordingly.
