Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.
Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training.
Provides support to customers/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.
What you'll be doing
Experience:- 4+ yrs
• Day to day support for incidents, issues reported via monitoring tool, users, incident management.
• Prepare, Plan, implement scheduled maintenance, break fix CR, emergency CR.
• Troubelshoot in case Daily / Weekly backup of network infra devices fails
• Maintain uptime of devices, circuits in network enviornment to achive hightest SLA.
• Hardware & Service provider hardware as well as circuit, ISP, OEM engagement for support, follow ups.
• Troubleshoot of ISP issues for latency, packet loss, flapping, link down, branch isolation.
• Troubleshoot complex routing, switching issues for branches, ZO, CO, CC offices.
• Joined troubleshooting on incident, technical bridge.
• Work on escalated issues and provide resolution urgently to minimize impact to services, users, bank.x
• Assist in DR activities for network level changes, issues reported
• Coordination with ISPs for new link requirements, bandwidth upgrades: Feasibility, cable laying, configurations, access & permissions, coordination with site / branch admin team.
• Design, setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports secured access.
• Inventory management, Manage commissioning, decommissioning (return), Faulty - RMA, replacement, return end to end coordination.
• Life-cycle management of devices: upgrade of devices.
• VA/CA point closure.
Security:
• Validate service requests, port opening requests in firewalls for new connections/ traffic in existing infra [ATM, Static routes for branches, Port opening,AWS/GCP/Azure cloud,3rd Party]
• DR Drill support by means of port opening, troubleshooting during drills (Firewall Rules/Routing/LB Nodes).
• Configure and setup Firewalls with VPN, access list for access to vital business applications.
• VPN access setup for new user,Provide access from Remote access vpn (applicatoin/url/prod/uat setup).
• Firewall rule management, IPS management - Operations support. Daily, Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly review and actions.
• Co-ordination with InfoSec team for specifc requirement.
Load Balancers:
• New VIP creations, node creation, VIP management & BAU: troubleshooting & support.
• Support for patch management team for enable and disablement of load balancer nodes.
• DR drill support by means of enable / disable of nodes for application / URL / third party.
• Raise DC cage access, secure approvals.
• Maintain LLD, HLD, Inventory, config back ups, firewall / IPS rule cleanup
• Carry out proactive and reactive administration, troubleshooting and support on enterprise network infrastructure..
