• Knowledge of data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Familiarity with database administration tasks, such as backup and recovery, security, and user management.
• Ability to write efficient and reliable database scripts and queries.
• Knowledge of database development tools, such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or Azure Data Studio.
• Understanding of database development best practices and version control systems
Education:
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required. However, relevant work experience can sometimes compensate for formal education.
• Experience:
