Senior MSSQL L3/SME DBA - Open for Contract and FTE
• To be based in Pune in Indian time slots / call’s would overlap with US - EST
Education & Experience Requirements
· Education - Bachelor or higher degree.
· 10+ years’ experience in working in IT services organization.
· At least 8+ years of SQL DBA experience covering implementation, production support and project work.
· At least 5+ years of exposure as L3/SME support role.
· Knowledge and Understanding the ITIL process
· In client facing role(s) globally for at least 5 years.
· Excellent communication skills
· On call support for at least 5 years.
· Excellent Documentations skills in MS SharePoint 2010 /2013
Mandatory skills - SQL Server & Cloud administration required skills
· Senior level Microsoft SQL Server DBA with experience in large and critical environments.
· Knowledge of performance tuning at both server level and query level. Candidate must have knowledge of perfmon, SQL Server dynamic management views.
· Knowledge of SQL server internals.
· Knowledge of SQL partitioning and compression
· Hands-on experience on mirroring, replication and Always ON
· Must have automation experience. Good knowledge of scripting. Ability to write T-Sql scripts, Power Shell or Python.
· Excellent knowledge of SSIS packages.
· Hands-on experience on SQL Server Clustering.
· Hands-on experience on Integration Services, Reporting services and Analysis services
· Must have good knowledge in SQL Server permission/security policies
· At least 6 months experience with AWS Cloud RDS
