As a Senior Network Engineer at Convera you will be responsible for the administrations, security, availability, and support of our global network operations. The role requires advanced understanding and knowledge of network platforms (LAN, WAN and Wireless) and security solutions using modern designs deployed in the AWS cloud and at the branch locations.
You will be responsible for:
Designing, implementing, and supporting SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, NextGen Firewalls, Internet, LAN and cloud network operations.
Managing day-to-day operations tasks, troubleshooting, and hardware deployments.
Working with security teams and implementing firewall policies.
Networking, performance testing and monitoring.
Keeping network systems up to date and complaint with company standards.
Reporting network status to the key stakeholders.
Partnering with other IT teams to achieve business excellence.
Documenting network designs, configurations and keeping them up to date.
You should apply if you have:
B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required
Typically requires a minimum of 5 to 8 years of network experience including configuring, analyzing, and troubleshooting network issues.
Hands on experience of configuring and supporting routers, switches, and firewalls.
Experience of managing software defined network and SASE solutions.
Experience in AWS cloud computing and deploying network appliances.
Experience in operations of medium to large network, knowledge of current hardware, protocols, and internet standards, including routers, switches (Layer2/3), IPsec, remote access VPNs, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, QoS,
Experience in industry leading WIFI solutions preferably Aruba.
In-depth understanding of CDN concepts and experience with Akamai platform and WAF
Experience with network design and test plan documentations.
Experience in scripting and Linux operating systems
Solid knowledge of network including TCP/IP, IPSec and routing protocols.
Managing Next Gen security appliances and deploying security policies.
Verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work with cross functional project team
Previous experience of Palo Alto Networks firewalls
Previous experience of cloud-based Palo Alto Networks SDWAN solution
Experience of Palo Alto Networks Primsa Access SASE solutions.
Knowledge of automation of network tasks using ansible and other modern methods.
Associate degree or higher in Computer science, MIS, engineering, or related field.
CCNA/CCNP or equivalent experience and knowledge.
