• Proficiency with firewalls: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA/FTD.
• Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL, Remote Access).
• Familiarity with SIEM, SOC processes, and threat‑hunting fundamentals.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, NAC (Cisco ISE), and identity‑based security.
Tools & Platforms
• Monitoring tools: SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Splunk.
• Cloud networking/security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a strong advantage.
• Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
