Job Description: We are seeking a top talent to assist the Team Lead in managing the Credit Administration function of the Mumbai branch. This role involves ensuring preparation and updating of documentation relating to credit facilities, authenticating security documents executed by customers, encoding and releasing credit limits into the bank's system, preparing and circulating documentation reports, and controlling various risks at the branch within the Group framework.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that credit approvals are signed by approved delegated credit authorities, preparing and reviewing standard and non-standard documentation, acquiring internal and external legal opinions, obtaining and reviewing pre-and subsequent condition documents prior to release or disbursement of limits, and coordinating with business, credit, legal, and operation verticals for appropriate clarifications.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of banking experience in loan documentation and related activities. Professional or legal qualifications will be an added advantage. Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with external and internal stakeholders are also essential.
