Job Description
Responsibilities
• To deploy, manage and troubleshoot Oracle databases
• To deploy, manage and troubleshoot Oracle Solaris
• To provide regular infrastructure updates to the respective stake holders
• To lead a team of engineers on Oracle products and provide technical sessions
• To provide day to day support on backup, dataguard, rac and performance related issues
• To present right Oracle solutions to clients on regular occasions to strengthen their respective environments
• To use ITSM tools
Qualifications
• Must have 5 or more years of experience managing databases
• Must have experience of troubleshooting database systems
• Must have hands-on experience on Dataguard, RAC, and backup of databases
• Preferred to know other database systems like MySQL and Postgres
• Must be willing to work in shifts
• Must be willing to travel abroad when work demands
• Must have experience in managing Solaris
• Must have experience on troubleshooting Oracle Solaris
• Preferred to know Exadata management and troubleshooting
• Must have a graduation degree
• Preferred to have industry certifications
