Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and high availability of our Oracle databases.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Oracle 12C, 18C, and 1+C, with experience in day-to-day database administration, backup and recovery, capacity planning, and performance tuning. You should also have expertise in Oracle Architecture, RAC, High Availability, and DR solutions, as well as experience with OEM.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have hands-on experience with configuring HA and DR solutions with DGMGRL, upgrading Oracle databases to latest versions, applying latest fix-packs, and monitoring database performance and recommending improvements for operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities will include performing database maintenance tasks such as reindexing, updating statistics, and reviewing and optimizing query tuning. The ideal candidate will also have experience with data guard, cloning, RMAN backups, Golden Gate, and point-in-time recovery, ASM, Linux operating system, and scripting languages like shell scripts/Perl/python.
