Job Summary
Skilled Oracle EPM Consultant with expertise in Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), Profitability and Cost Management (PCM), and Enterprise Data Management (EDM). The ideal candidate will combine a robust accounting background with technical proficiency to design, implement, and support Oracle EPM solutions. This role will support critical financial planning, data governance, and cost management initiatives within financial services operations, ensuring data consistency, process efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Application Maintenance & Support - EPBCS:
Resolve problems, issues and build enhancements on Oracle EPM solutions, including EPBCS, and EDM, tailored to financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Project Implementation – PCM:
Support on-going PCM implementation. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into Oracle EPM configurations and workflows. Develop and optimize cost allocation, profitability models, and financial data governance processes.
Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
Configure and manage Oracle EDM to streamline data management and ensure data integrity across financial systems. Implement hierarchy management and workflow-driven data governance processes.
Work directly with business and gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Technical Expertise
Develop and maintain integration processes between Oracle EPM and other enterprise systems. Build business rules, calculation scripts, and reports to optimize system functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in EPBCS, PCM, and EDM applications.
Accounting Integration & Financial Analysis
Design cost allocation models and profitability frameworks tailored to financial services requirements. Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting and data governance practices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Training
Partner with finance, accounting, and IT teams to ensure successful adoption of Oracle EPM solutions.
Provide end-user training and support to maximize system efficiency and usage.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and recommend enhancements to Oracle EPM solutions for improved functionality and user experience.
Stay updated on Oracle EPM product updates, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
