About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Legal team as a Sr. Paralegal based in Shelton, CT. The Sr. Paralegal will support the Legal Department with review of commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements and contracts for hotels or meetings and events globally, and may include review of digital and tech contracts, as well as contract administration, reporting and controls.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Review commercial, travel, meetings/events and other contracts and/or SOWs using Subway templates or third-party submissions according to Subway's established guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in-house counsel with contracts as needed, including obtaining signatures, sending reminders/follow-ups and mailing contracts or notices as needed.
• Assist with maintenance of CLM system and reporting.
• Partner & collaborate with in-house counsel, internal and external customers and stakeholders and vendor partners to deliver project objectives.
• Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment.
• Ability to work with multiple initiatives and delivery timelines, as well as comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
• Plan, prioritize and manage projects to ensure the successful, timeliness and quality delivery of projects.
• Work cross-functionally with all groups within Legal as well as other business teams.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Paralegal Certificate required.
• 3+ years’ experience.
• Knowledge and versatility with software, including CLM systems, Docusign or Adobe sign, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheets, Outlook, MS Teams, OneNote and Outlook.
• Exemplary personal and professional integrity and legal ethics with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential information and circumstances with sensitivity and discretion.
• Ability to manage a large, fast-paced, and dynamic workload for multiple stakeholders with little supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, independently manage tasks, prioritize conflicting demands, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Organized, detail-oriented, aptitude for applying critical thinking to execution, eager Problem-solver.
• Highly efficient individual experienced in developing and implementing business entity management maintenance controls and processes.
• Team player with a positive attitude who enjoys collaborating with others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
