Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the facility security program to achieve and maintain a Facility Security Clearance (FCL) at the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) level
The FSO will ensure compliance with all government security regulations and requirements
Develop, implement, and manage the facility security program in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other applicable government security directives
Coordinate and facilitate the process to obtain and maintain a Facility Security Clearance (FCL) at the Top Secret/SCI level
Conduct regular security audits, inspections, and self-assessments to ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures
Manage personnel security clearance processes, including initiation, tracking, and maintenance of security clearances for employees and contractors
Prepare and submit required documentation and reports to government agencies, including the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)
Provide security training and briefings to employees to ensure understanding and compliance with security policies and procedures
Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters with government agencies and customers
Investigate and report security violations and incidents, and recommend corrective actions as necessary
Maintain accurate and up-to-date security records and documentation
Part-time, flexible hours to be determined based on the needs of the facility

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the facility security program to achieve and maintain a Facility Security Clearance (FCL) at the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) level. • Proficiency with security management software and tools is a plus.
Education:
