Companies are increasingly using partners to extend owned capabilities across product development, marketing, sales, delivery, and customer success and support. Customers need partners with depth and a practice who are going to help them. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute:

Demand Creation and Acceleration of Partner-led pipeline in India. Drive to-partner engagement initiatives to influence C-level executives in Strategic and Cloud Services partners for growth based on incremental value and lift. Drive to-partner engagement initiatives in India to partners in technical, sales, marketing functions pivot their preference for VMware in their solution offerings to customers. Opportunity to collaborate with and leverage pan-APJ initiatives, Development Funds to achieve measurable outcomes in pipeline and partner engagement in addition to India initiatives that you will execute. Partner with Global/APJ Partner & Alliances Marketing, India/APJ Marketing and APJ Partner Business stakeholders to help shape overall partnerships strategy & drive execution for APJ
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

Build a country partner marketing plan that is drives partner-led pipeline, to-partner engagement (C-level partner executives and influencers partner audience) aligned to APJ & local Marketing and Partner Business stakeholders’ objectives and key results.
As optimize your resource for scale, you need to collaborate with APJ Partner Marketing stakeholders to reflect pan-APJ initiatives in your plan that are relevant in your market.
Build marketing capabilities in our strategic partnerships to drive through-partner demand for our customers with measurable marketing contributed pipeline; In some of these strategic partnerships, you will help partners to amplify their deep services skillsets in their demand generation offerings to help customers throughout their digital transformation journey;
Lead and participate in productive discussions and decision making around your committed partners with marketing capabilities, capacity, and measurable contribution that VMware should invest in to drive the strategic outcomes that impacts the VMware business.

Build depth & structure to our top partnerships through a programmatic approach that includes joint marketing planning, partner experience, etc.
Engaging actively with key stakeholders in Marketing and Partner Business for strategic partnerships to influence alignment, growth and related investments.
Participating and actively contributing to important global & APJ workstreams related to the partner business. Shaping an APJ point of view in collaboration with the APJ PCO LT and other necessary stakeholders.
Drive high collaboration with the field to surface best practices that can be leveraged across APJ/global,
Regularly interlock with field partner business leadership teams to uncover new strategic needs as it relates to marketing and subsequently execute those via pilot initiatives and lead to drive those initiatives.
Represents the partner (marketing) business internally and externally as required.

He is based in Singapore, and joined VMware in October 2015.
