Job Details
Responsibilities
• Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of Intellectual Property matters, including patents, trademarks, and business litigation.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a variety of complex agreements related to Intellectual Property rights.
• Develop and manage patent portfolios to protect the company's intellectual property.
• Represent the company in patent litigations and negotiations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
• Stay abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends related to Intellectual Property and patents, and advise the company accordingly.
• Develop and deliver training to company employees on Intellectual Property matters.
• Work closely with the legal team to develop and implement Intellectual Property strategies and policies.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with a state bar.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience
• Demonstrated experience in trademark and business litigation.
• In-depth knowledge of Intellectual Property laws and regulations.
• Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office preferred.
