As an Event Manager, you will oversee the planning and execution of engaging healthcare provider (HCP) meetings, becoming the central figure for venue selection, guest management, and the overall success of each event.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables while keeping a comprehensive perspective on all details.
• Build strong relationships with clients and vendors to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Coordinate logistics for events, including sourcing venues and managing travel arrangements (up to 30% travel).
• Monitor spending and maintain budget adherence while maximizing impact.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders through clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Leverage event management software and tools to enhance efficiency in event planning.
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; project management certification (PMP, CMP, etc.) is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in planning HCP meetings within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Expertise in event design and management with a strong ability to handle budgets.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple projects.
• Strong rapport-building skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
• Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to changing needs.
• Availability to work east coast hours (US).
