Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join our team at BeamInnovate. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in PHP, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) with PHP, and relevant experience in developing software solutions. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of PHP frameworks, PSR coding standards, APIs, libraries, Composer, Git, HTML, and other related technologies. This is an on-site position, and remote work is not available.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using PHP and related technologies.
Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and test new features and functionality.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by clients or internal stakeholders.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions with other systems and platforms.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve product offerings.
Provide technical support and assistance to clients and internal teams as needed.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong foundation in PHP development, including experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts and their application in PHP development.
Familiarity with PSR coding standards and best practices.
Experience working with APIs, both consuming and developing RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of Composer for dependency management and package installation.
Proficient in version control systems, especially Git.
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a small team environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in developing ecommerce solutions or CRM software.
Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
