Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer with a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and exceptional English communication skills. In this role, you will play a key part in daily and weekly product discussions with our Irish teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and clear articulation of technical concepts. You will be responsible for developing and integrating AI-powered features into PHP-based applications to enhance automation, decision-making, and data processing capabilities.

This is a 5-day working week position with fixed shift hours, Monday to Friday 06:00 to 15:00 BST (British Standard Time).


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications with integrated AI-driven functionalities.
Work closely with Irish teams to communicate technical insights and updates effectively.
Integrate AI and machine learning models via APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini).
Optimize application performance using AI-driven data processing and decision-making.
Handle structured and unstructured data to generate AI-driven insights and analytics.
Ensure the security, scalability and performance of AI-powered web applications.
Stay updated with AI advancements and assess their applicability in PHP-based applications.
Must have: High-Speed Wired Broadband (50Mbps+), a fully functional Laptop (Windows 11, i5, SSD, 8-16 GB RAM), Wired Headset and proper power backup to be online for 8-+ hours in case of a power cut during shift hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for clear participation in product calls.
Strong expertise in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework, or CodeIgniter).
Proficiency in RESTful API development and third-party API integration.
Basic knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts.
Experience with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for handling AI-generated data.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) for deploying AI-powered applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
