Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Podcast Video Editor who lives and breathes long-form conversations
and knows how to turn them into high-impact video content. This role is central to shaping the
visual identity of the podcast across YouTube and social platforms. You’ll own the edit from raw
footage to final cut and help define how our stories are told visually.
Working model
Remote-first
On-site presence required for shoots or special episodes
Monday to Friday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
What you will do
• Edit long-form podcast episodes for YouTube with strong pacing, narrative flow, and
visual consistency
• Create short-form clips and highlights optimized for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and
other platforms
• Collaborate closely with the host, producers, and content team to understand the intent
of each conversation
• Add polish through sound design, basic color correction, captions, and graphics where
needed
• Maintain a consistent visual language aligned with the podcast’s luxe, minimal brand
aesthetic
• Take feedback constructively and iterate quickly without losing creative clarity
• Manage footage, timelines, exports, and archives in an organized, scalable way
• Stay updated on podcast editing styles, YouTube trends, and audience viewing behavior
• Align tasks and manage a seamless workflow across the editing team
What we’re looking for
• Strong experience editing podcast or interview-led video content
• Excellent command over Adobe Premiere Pro (After EVects is a plus)
• Deep understanding of pacing for conversations, pauses, and emotional beats
• Ability to make long conversations feel tight, engaging, and intentional
• Experience editing for YouTube and social platforms with platform-specific sensibility
• High attention to detail and strong storytelling instincts
• Ability to handle multiple edits and deadlines without compromising quality
• Someone who thinks like an editor and a viewer
