The GCS PMO and Governance Team are responsible for provision of PMO services which enable and deliver Group Corporate Services projects/programs/portfolios as well as Supplier Governance over CBA’s top tiered suppliers.

Do work that matters:

You will play a key part in the execution and delivery of Group Corporate Services projects, programs and portfolios as well as providing governance over CBA’s top tiered suppliers. Your responsibilities will include:

Taking ownership of the execution of the governance processes and frameworks

Supporting internal and external stakeholders

Identifying, managing, resolving/escalating project gaps utilising risk management methodologies

Developing and tracking project milestones and work with project leads to deliver to agreed timings

Identifying, initiating and driving continuous improvement initiatives

Draft outcomes of meetings and producing any necessary reporting

Preparation of meeting collateral (pre and post meeting)

Actively managing risks/issues and escalations

Adhering to the Supplier Management Framework

We’re interested in hearing from people who possess experience in:

Supporting and delivering the Risk and Governance strategy

Supplier Governance

Supporting project teams to deliver agreed objectives

Understanding of Project Management Methodologies

Minimum 5 year in a Project or supplier support role

Project management qualification (desirable)

Supplier management qualifications (desirable)

High attention to detail and thoroughness

High level of proactiveness and ability to work independently to drive outcomes

High level of self-awareness and body language

Ability to ask the right questions and drive discussion and outcomes

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills

Ability to communicate with all levels of management
