We are looking for a Product Design Architect to shape the future of work. In this role, you will be recognized as an inspiring leader responsible for defining product direction and maintaining best-in-class, innovative design standards. Behind every product, there exists a talented team of UX designers and engineers dedicated to building integrated and ethical experiences that foster strong relationships with users and customers. As a seasoned Architect, you will create visions that enable our customers' success, define strategy, prototype product visions, and collaborate across Salesforce's product and design teams to launch your vision into the market—all while setting a high standard for design excellence and pioneering new patterns and paradigms.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with experienced design, engineering, and product partners, including our GMs, to drive vision and strategy for Salesforce development through effective design.
• Create prototypes that allow Salesforce to explore product visions in real-time, leveraging real data.
• Lead complex design initiatives across multiple product pillars.
• Work with cross-functional partners to establish business goals and strategic vision at both the Salesforce Platform and pillar levels.
• Communicate and reinforce product vision and business objectives to inspire all roles and levels within the organization.
• Collaborate within the design team on systemic initiatives, enhancing our design system, mobile design practices, and prototyping processes.
• Mentor and support other designers in their professional growth.
• Actively advocate for Salesforce design and contribute to building our design community.
• Guide and improve design and feedback processes.
• Attract top talent, conduct interviews, and progressively enhance our inclusive design hiring process.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of significant experience in a leading individual contributor role within a product design team, focusing on desktop or mobile applications.
• An impressive portfolio demonstrating applied design skills and innovative ideation.
• Experience in collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic environment.
• Extensive experience working with product managers and engineering teams to develop a cohesive vision, strategy, and rationale.
• A proven track record in mentoring designers and elevating design teams toward excellence.
• Demonstrated expertise in prototyping as a method for exploring and conveying design solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: Proficiency in mobile and web technologies.
