About 2+Metals and Capricorn Copper

2+Metals is an ASX-listed mining company that produces copper and other base and precious metals critical to the global energy transition. We are headquartered in Melbourne, with support offices in Perth and Brisbane.

We operate two long-life assets: Golden Grove in Western Australia and Capricorn Copper in Queensland. Additionally, we have a portfolio of exploration interests, including a strategic tenement package and exploration project in Redhill, Chile.

Capricorn Copper is a high-grade underground mining operation with a strong history of copper and silver production. Backed by substantial ore reserves of 16 million tonnes and further exploration potential, the site has a projected lifespan of over 10 years.

Following an extreme weather event, operations were temporarily suspended, but significant investment is now underway to support recovery and expansion. The Queensland Government has declared the Capricorn Copper Recovery and Extension Project a prescribed and critical infrastructure project, reinforcing its support for the mine’s full return to operation.
