Main responsibilities
Be the Technical Advisor-Process for day-to-day Operations, providing input to the Operational Performance Standard (OPS) and Maintenance Management.
Liaise with the offshore team and client for day-to-day requirements and process optimization.
Mentor and guide the team members through discussions and knowledge sharing sessions.
Officiate as Production manager as per requirements.
Monitor on a continuous basis that the FPSO performs within the relevant performance standards and advise on suitable remedial actions as necessary.
Ensure the efficiency and quality is achieved for all Process related matters including well management, separation, compression and gas export throughout the life cycle of FPSO.
Ensure that the asset is adequately maintained to ensure OCS and industry standard,class, flag state and other regulatory requirements are met.
Responsible for utilizing process Engineer software tools in terms of process optimization and trouble shooting.
Prepare / review relevant operational procedures.
Actively contributes to incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Review relevant MOCs as applicable.
Periodic competence assessment of offshore Process / Production leads and Operators.
Follow up discipline-specific queries raised by client.
Update Lesson Learned Register based on Management of Change Request,Shutdown / Breakdown Reports review, Survey / Audit Reports etc.
Qualification Requirements Education
Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or other relevant major.
Experience
10 years’ experience in process engineering or operations which at least 5 years in Oil and Gas or closely related industry.
It is expected to have very good working knowledge of high-pressure gas field, operation of Subsea Production System and wells using Topside Subsea Control System Equipment.
Good understanding about Conceptual Engineering, FEED & Detailed Design Scope preparation. Front End Engineering process design and detailed engineering process design.
Good understanding of modelling all Process Engineering activities & Process Deliverables including Design Basis, PFD, P&IDs;, control narrative, flow assurance studies, etc. Simulations include HYSYS, steady State and transient hydraulics analysis using PIPESIM and OLGA report analysis.
Offshore / FPSO experience is highly preferred.
Experience within database, Simulations and maintenance management systems.
Familiar with Offshore Commissioning and operations.
Previous experience working in a multidiscipline and multinational environment is desirable.

Able to work under pressure, delivering high quality work on time
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary / multinational environment

Knowledge
Fully conversant with subsea well operations, FPSO topside equipment operation & maintenance, and process plant operations.
Understanding of condensate offloading operations, cargo tank operations, FPSO engine room and marine operations including fire prevention techniques are advantages.
Very good knowledge of Offshore rules and regulations including Class, Flag state and international codes and Standards.
Good understanding of how various engineering disciplines interact.
Very good knowledge of simulation programs.
Good knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems (e.g. SAP, IFS)
Capability as internal auditor is an advantage
Fluent in English (oral and written)

Since this position requires detailed understanding of the Subsea / Process / FPSO system, and procedures on board, frequent offshore assignments are expected (as a minimum once in 3months)
