Job Description
Plan for IT procurement by: working with nominated internal stakeholders to identify future procurement needs; researching the IT procurement need through engaging subject matter experts, reviewing industry reports/research and identifying existing contracts or arrangements; and drafting evaluation and sourcing strategies and reports for IT procurement needs.
Source IT contracts by managing the end-to-end quote and tender process in accordance with the Queensland Procurement Policy and related departmental policies.
Draft and execute IT Contracts using the QITC Framework and manage by monitoring supplier performance in accordance with the contract management plan and associated policies. This includes managing emerging disputes and accurately processing purchase orders and invoices.
Report on contract and sourcing activities by keeping registers current and publishing awarded contract details in accordance with policies.
Identify opportunities for improvements in the branch's practices and achievement of QPP targets and raise procurement challenges with peers.
Represent the branch as required at various forums for procurement and contract manager forums. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
